Gen 2 Self-Timing Muzzle Brake Installation Instructions
Check that the firearm is unloaded and the chamber is empty.
Remove the existing muzzle device if applicable.
Clean muzzle threads with quality cleaner.
With the nut screwed all the way on the brake (not separately), thread the entire unit threads onto the muzzle until the nut contacts the shoulder of the barrel.
Back off the muzzle brake until the ports are indexed at 3 and 9 o’clock.
Tighten the nut with a crescent wrench slightly beyond hand-tight.
Overtightening could result in damage to our products or your barrel.
If your shoulder is not square or of sufficient diameter for your barrel you may require purple or blue Loctite on your barrel threads only to hold the brake in place.
Now that you have installed the muzzle brake, zero your rifle.
